Cotidiano is part of Eduardo Rezende’s Janela do Tempo series, a body of work widely recognized for its striking ambiguity between painting and photography. The vivid yellow wall, fractured to expose bricks beneath, stands in sharp contrast to the soft rise of sand and the sun-bleached tiles behind it. Above, turquoise and terracotta remnants add further stratification, transforming the ruin into a chromatic landscape. Each element carries the weight of time, yet the clarity of light and the precision of detail give the scene an almost surreal presence.
