"Uno" floor lamp, designed by the trio Boccato, Gigante
Zambusi for Zerbetto in the 1970s. A classic of the High-Tech design movement, this lamp strips lighting down to its bare essentials: a frame and a bulb.
The design features a stark, black-painted tubular metal frame that holds a single vertical fluorescent tube (LED compatible). It is anchored by a heavy industrial transformer box at the base, which features the embossed "UNO" logo. The lamp is designed to lean casually against a wall, creating a relaxed, architectural look that provides powerful ambient light.
This versatile piece allows for customization—you can swap the standard white tube for colored neon or LED tubes to dramatically change the atmosphere of the room. It comes with its original hanging hook system (available on request) should you wish to wall-mount it.
