Giotto Stoppino style. Space Age tubular side table, Italy, 1970s. Composed of a sculptural base formed by the union of different aluminum cylinders together, forming a solid structure on which rests a thick smoked and beveled glass. The glass is attached to the structure by 4 suckers. Finished in off-white lacquer.
Brutalist, Mid-Century, Cubist and Bauhaus styles.
This coffee table is very much in the style of Giotto Stoppino's creations for Kartell, Roche Bobois' furniture, and Andrew Finnigan's designs.
Note: slight marks of use on the glass. Marks of use on the lacquer of the structure and small repainted areas. Good general and aesthetic condition, without structural damages, but it would be advisable to repaint the structure by a qualified professional.
Total measurements: 41cm high, 45cm long, 45cm wide.
Structure measurements: 40cm high, 37.5cm long, 37.5cm wide.
Glass thickness: 1cm.
