Measuring 112 x 359 cm (approx. 3'8" x 11'9"), its impressive length and dynamic, repeating pattern make it a commanding art piece for any long hallway, gallery, or entrance.
The central field is characterized by a bold, all-over pattern of vertically aligned and interconnected large diamond (lozenge) medallions. These monumental geometric forms are intricately rendered, utilizing striking color shifts—including deep navy blue, vibrant madder red, and warm yellow—and are densely filled with complex, smaller geometric motifs, zig-zags, and latch-hook elements. This specific repeating diamond structure is highly characteristic of the Shulaver weaving tradition.
The composition is framed by a strong, multi-band border system.
