This elegant Antique Caucasian Shirvan Rug is a beautiful and highly artistic textile from the East Caucasus, dating to circa 1890. Measuring 125 x 143 cm (approx. 4'1" x 4'8"), its charming square-like format and detailed floral design make it an exceptional accent piece for a study, seating area, or wall display.
The central field features a warm, luminous golden yellow/cream ground, which is dominated by large, highly stylized floral motifs (often interpreted as tulips or lotus blossoms).
