This magnificent Antique Shirvan Runner Rug is a substantial and richly detailed piece from the East Caucasus, dating back to the late 19th century. Measuring 135 x 293 cm (approx. 4'5" x 9'7"), its impressive length and width make it an exceptional focal point for grand hallways, galleries, or expansive living spaces. The design is commanding, featuring a deep midnight blue/indigo field that showcases a powerful column of three large, interconnected lozenge (diamond) medallions. These medallions are densely filled with intricate geometric devices, stylized cruciforms, and are accented with rich tones of madder red, gold, deep green, and ivory.
