This elegant Antique Caucasian Shirvan Rug is a superb example of the refined weaving art from the East Caucasus, dating to circa 1880. The central field features a luminous cream/ivory ground that is densely covered by a meticulously arranged diamond lattice or repeating quatrefoil pattern.
