maharishi Tribeca

Situated in a landmarked Tribeca loft building, the new US headquarters for British clothing brand maharishi is both a showroom and distribution hub. A kind of building-within-a-building, the project preserves the space’s details by placing the new shop inside the historic interior, floating within it. A grid of cabinetry defines the insertion, marking out two levels: halfway through the space, a mezzanine levitates above the shop, creating another, more intimate room.
