About the Item
Circa 1930 sterling silver 'trunk' by Fred Davis, of Taxco, Mexico, the box in the form of a trunk with applied bands of silver which are riveted to the body, and other applied elements at each corner, with applied handles at the side to emphasize the illusion of a miniature trunk, and yet another decorative applied element at the clasp, the box resting on four (4) bun feet, one (1) at each corner of the box.
Weight 20 oz. Dimensions 6 1/2 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo.
