Mr. Snitkovsky is an internationally known artist, sculpture and poet. His works of art are included in collections of the Japanese Imperial Family, Sheik Muhamed Nasser of Saudi Arabia, Clint Eastwood, Tony Bennett, Jose Eber, M. Rastropovich and many others. Mr. Snitkovsky has sold at Sotheby's and Christie's alongside the works of Matisse, Rodin, Picasso and Toulouse Lautrec. He has exhibited in London, Italy, Japan, Russia, New York, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Las Vegas (Caesar's Palace) and New Orleans. A fabulous Gucci 5 piece Desk set in a Crocodile or Allifgator grain leather or real skin. It was gifted by Frank Sinatra to his close friend and neighbor Daniel Schwartz of Rancho Mirage, a neighboring town of Palm Springs.
It is marked on the inside DS Noel FS. It was purchased from the estate of Daniel and Natalie Schwartz. The desk pad has a new green paper blotter. The ink blotter has a new matching green paper. The set is in remarkably good condition. We have a similar set listed for sale on this site. This set dates from the 1970’s. It was featured in an ad in Architectural Digest from the period. The desk pad is approximately 19.25x15.25 inches. The leather is in good condition. There are numerous rough edge spots and minor marks throughout. The letter opener has some gold plate loss. Please see the detailed photos

Frank Sinatra and Daniel (Danny) Schwartz first met in the early 1960s at Sinatra's Cal Neva Resort and Casino in Crystal Bay, Nevada, where they formed a close, decades long friendship.
Schwartz and Sinatra were neighbors at the Tamarisk Country Club, Rancho Mirage and golfed together, spent evenings at Melvyn’s Restaurant, Palm Springs, attended weekly dinner parties with family and friends, enjoyed trips to Las Vegas for games of Baccarat and Sinatra’s performances. Schwartz and his wife, Natalie, hosted Sinatra’s appointment as Honorary Mayor of Cathedral City, California in 1971.
Beyond their friendship, Schwartz and Sinatra shared numerous business ventures including thoroughbred ownership and philanthropic projects such as the Barbara Sinatra...

A gorgeous vintage burnt bamboo (or torched bamboo) scrolled hanging wall mirror. This piece will be fantastic in any space. It is tall and rectangular and is framed with strips of bamboo on each side. At the top (Or the bottom, depending on how you hang it) are bent or scrolled strips of bamboo fashioned into a geometric pattern with circular reeds of bamboo on each side. The back has no stickers or maker marks, and the mirror may perhaps be new, it is difficult to tell. Hang this piece in a bathroom, hallway, or dressing table. A Italian Lamp that is both classic and modern. A chic bronze statue on a burl wood cube base. Beautifully made as only the Italians can do. We custom ordered a black fabric shade that looks like the original version which was too torn to save. The inside king of the shade is a light color gold fabric which drowns the sculpture at night in a beautiful gold glow. This classic Italian style lamp looks amazing mixed with a modern decor.
