Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this highly collectable Chinese Circa 1920's Mahjong set with the original Burr and Burl Amboyna wood box including lots of extra counters
A very nice suite, its made from bamboo, it has a lovely little instruction booklet which I've not seen before, the case has a hidden drawer to the bottom full of extra counters
All the pieces are there which is 144 main tiles plus 7 blanks, its four complete sets of everything I think from memory, I've personally removed them and put it all back in order after having the case cleaned waxed and polished
The condition is very good for the age, I can’t fault it, there may be age and use related patina marks here and there, honestly I can't see any issues
