This charming snuff bottle is carved from a single piece of lapis lazuli, a gem stone appreciated for its density and opaque blue color. The bottle itself has a flattened, oblong form, decorated on one side with a large relief carving of a koi fish, a symbol of harmony, wealth and luck.
