About the Item

This is an antique Japanese-style cabinet made in the Meiji period. The texture of the black lacquer, smoked with soot from the hearth, has a unique depth and charm that is unlike any other. The natural color and texture cultivated over many years give it a warm and solid feel. The frame is made of sturdy cedar wood, and the other parts are made of beautiful chestnut wood, and traditional woodworking techniques are used throughout. The wavy sliding door design and keyhole decoration are not only practical but also artistic, which is its charm. The sliding door is removable, so you can enjoy free arrangement. Not only can you organize your everyday accessories, but you can also use it as a display. This cabinet, which has been passed down through time, becomes more beautiful the more you use it, adding a Japanese atmosphere to your space. Weight: 40kg
