About the Item
This is an antique low table from the Taisho period.
The table top is made of five pieces of Shurizakura wood with beautiful grain, and its rich expression captivates the viewer. In addition, to prevent the table top from warping, it is finished with a grooved joint, which is a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the artisans.
You can see the robust construction, which was made with great attention to detail.
The sturdy keyaki base is carefully finished with black lacquer and gives off an elegant luster. Copper is used inside, and its weight and calm appearance give it a sense of dignity.
The warm wood grain of Shurizakura, the deep luster of the black lacquer, and the unique texture of copper harmonize to create a stately masterpiece that will be loved for generations to come.
It will fit in well with not only Japanese-style rooms but also modern spaces, creating a high-quality space.
Weight of tabletop: 27kg
Weight of base: 31kg
