Rare and striking (no pun intended) Chinese bronze or brass gong with etched dragons. This hand-crafted and sizeable Chinese table gong from the turn of the century (circa 1900) is both practical to use and a beautiful work of art to look at. The gong itself is wonderfully decorated with an etched and engraved dragon scene and two Chinese symbols that we cannot read. With dragons representing good luck, strength and good health you can imagine why these famous symbols are often integrated in Chinese works of art.
