About the Item

This vase features a traditional vase coated with a clear and rich green celadon glaze. A fine network of crazing covers the surface. The neck is adorned with raised vine motifs, while the body is encircled by delicately carved peony designs. Vertical fluting is pressed into the lower section, providing a subtle yet elegant decorative rhythm. The glaze is applied evenly overall, though the foot remains unglazed, revealing the reddish clay body. Such characteristics are commonly seen in celadon wares from the late Yuan to early Ming periods, particularly those associated with the Longquan or Changsha kilns. The vase exhibits a well-balanced form and restrained decoration, reflecting refined craftsmanship and standing out as a high-quality example among similar celadon wares.
