About the Item
An exceptional c1920 rainbow-colored Art Deco Awaji Pottery vase with an overlapping cloud-like motif. Multicolored pieces of Awaji Pottery all too often suffer from glazes migrating into other colors. Fortunately and most unusual is the lack of this issue with this vase. The cloud motif of the decor on this vase is about as Art Deco you can get. This vase is pure eye candy from every angle. The vase features the Sanpei Kiln flag mark on the base.
