About the Item

THIS IS FOR ONE LANTERN ONLY<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< In the tradition of marriage lanterns. Composed of four parts each. Finely enameled decorated borders with butterflies on a pristine white ground. The undersides and interiors unglazed revealing very fine porcelain. Unusual form dating from the 1920s-1950s. Each of the four parts beautifully made and fit precisely. One small chip on the top rim lip of the base on one lantern.
