Exceptional example of a 19th century Chinese wine jar. Hand thrown with a hand painted glaze ranging from cerulean to indigo tones of blue. Exterior is bright and beautiful. Interior still has a light lining of sediment from the antique wine that has thoroughly dried.
Beautiful shapely piece with high shoulders that taper down towards the base.
Exceptionally beautiful piece.
