Annamese Blue and White Ceramic Jarlet, Chu Dao Kilns. The pomegranate shaped jarlet with globular body, narrow flat base and sepal everted mouth rim decorated in under glaze cobalt blue of a hopping bird and plants on the side and lotus petals around the neck, covered overall in a clear crackled glaze except for the base adhered with the Hoi An Hoard label artifact #118219. A recovered ceramic from the 1999 salvage of a wreck off the Vietnamese coast. Some minor rim frits otherwise fine. 2.25 in. high x 2.25 in. in diameter. (5.8 x 5.8cm).
