A fine antique Chinese export porcelain open vegetable bowl or dish.
In the Canton pattern.
Decorated in underglaze blue depicting a mountainous Chinese village to the top of the lid and the long sides of the body. The background has houses, mountains, and a pagoda. The midground is a river with boats and some more houses. The foreground depicts a bridge across the river, a rocky outcropping, trees, and another structure.
With a blue underglaze decoration to both the rim and the interior of the rim.
Simply a wonderful example of Canton porcelain!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is some fritting and flakes to the rim, and some open glaze bubbles here
there. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
