A very large
rare antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue
White Porcelain Rouleau dragon vase, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the vase dating to the late 1600s.
The vase of slightly tapered cylindrical form, with a broad neck
flared mouth, painted in under-glazed blue with various warring dragons surrounded by peonies and circular medallions between paneled diaper borders. The base having a pair of blue concentric circles, the vase is accompanied with a 19th century carved rosewood stand.
This vase is guaranteed to be Kangxi period and will be shipped very well packed with a certificate of authenticity.
Christie's sold an almost identical yet slightly smaller pair in 2014 for $32,500, please see the last image in this listing.
A very similar vase is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, Gallery Location Floor 6 Room 145 ceramics room.
The vase is in excellent condition, no damage or condition issues.
