About the Item
A fine antique Chinese Export porcelain bowl.
In the Famille Verte style.
In the 'Cabbage Leaf' pattern. The pattern incorporates both bok choy leaves and butterflies as both are symbols of good fortune in Chinese culture.
With a gilt, stylized 寿 (shòu, longevity) to the center.
The rim with gilding and painted floral decoration.
Simply a wonderful piece of Chinese Export porcelain!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are extra glaze tags in the base of the bowl and losses the painted decoration (some noticeable) throughout. There is a small chip or flake to the rim and some slight rubbing to the gilding. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
