About the Item
Born of the collaboration between a Parisian antiques dealer and a rural Vietnamese artists' community, these impressive monumental urns are a testament to the value of craft and workmanship, circa 2010. Their traditional design and worn glaze suggest ancient origins, defying completely their contemporary creation and belying their creators' skill. Furthermore, the hoof motifs adorning the bases suggest something animal and primordial, contrasting with the elegance of the urns' forms.
Unique pieces.
