About the Item

An elegant fine stoneware bottle vase with underglaze blue painted decoration depicting stylized flowers and foliage in a style typical of Vietnamese production from Chu Đậu (Hải Dương region) in the late 16th to early 17th centuries. The beautiful, slightly bluish ivory glaze is scattered with small iron inclusions, indicating wood firing. It has a well-balanced form with a slender neck and a globular body. In exceptional condition, without cracks or restoration. Height: 25.5 cm.
