About the Item
A fine pair Chinese Qianlong porcelain hand painted Batavian saucer dishes in the famille rose palette dating from the 18th century. The finely made dishes are of simple rounded shape standing on a narrow unglazed cut foot with brown glazes applied to the underside of the rims. The front of the saucers are painted with vases containing flowers on a table in a court yard scene set within a formal pattern border. The dishes are not marked.
In good condition with wear associated with age and use.
