About the Item

With mottled color and charming asymmetry, this ceramic Chinese candle stand from the early 19th century has the wabi-sabi appeal of handcrafted folk pottery. The simple silhouette is cloaked in a dark brown glaze with glossy finish and a lovely depth of color. We love its rustic imperfections - from the drips that streak through the glaze to the texture of ridges left on the stem by the potter's fingers.
