About the Item
An exceptional Chinese Guangxu mark and period porcelain dish hand painted with a millefleur design dating between 1875 and 1908. The small rounded dish has a raised rim and is exquisitely painted in subtle colors with a multitude of floral blooms set within a gilded ground. The detail is stunning and the dish is also painted with floral designs to the underside of the rim. The dish has a six character Guangxu mark to the base and is probably from around the beginning of the period.
Offered in good condition with light rubbing to the gilding.
