About the Item
A very impressive and stylish Chinese haresfur glazed pottery tea bowl in the Jian Ware style, signed to the base, and believe to date from the 20th century. The round tea bowl stands on a narrow round unglazed foot and is finely decorated in brown and black glazes with a very fine haresfur patterning to the inner and outer edges of the bowl and with a gold metal rim applied around the top edge.
