About the Item
A fine antique Chinese Qing porcelain teapot hand decorated in bright colored enamels and dating from the Early 20th century. The teapot of rounded cylindrical shape is incised and hand painted with floral designs and bats with a 'shou' (longevity) symbol below the handle. The teapot has a raised narrow neck with a loosely fitting cover and with a short S shaped pouring spout to the side with a single pouring hole indicative of its age. The teapot has two wire pouring handles attached to the top and is not marked.
In good condition with wear associated with age.
