About the Item

A stunning green and pink chinoiserie ceramic barbotine candle holder. Glazed in a variety of greens, pinks, browns, and yellows, this piece will be a fabulous accent to a foyer table or coffee table. The candle holder is in the shape of a palm frond and glazed in light green. Etched veins are decorated throughout. A decorative unglazed creamy white scalloped detail accents one side. On the other side, a Trompe L'Oeil barbotine lotus stem serves as a handle. A small brown bug sits upon one of the stems. The stems are in darker green and have raised areas from top to bottom making picking up and transporting the vessel easy. On the body of the holder is a delicate barbotine-applied lotus flower in pink, white and yellow. The top is unglazed and features a white flat area for holding a candle of your choice. It is decorated in unglazed white scalloped edges. No markings on the bottom. Dimensions: 9" Wide 5.5" Deep 12.5" Tall.
