Japanese Bizen ware bunrin chaire by Toho Kimura.
A ceramic powdered tea container for the Japanese tea ceremony. The globular body delicately potted and mottled with ash adhesions, signed Toho above the string cut base, organic lid with gold leaf underside, brocade shifuku, signed wooden tomobako. Excellent condition. 2-1/2” high x 2-3/4” in diameter. Early 20th century.
