A large pair of vases with unusual dragons, in the Imari palette. Mark of Hichozan for Tashiro Monzaemon, famous ceramist and dealer that develop the trade with foreign countries at the end of the Edo Period and the beginning of the Meiji Era. Different examples of Imari porcelains with this mark can be found famous Museum around the world as the British Museum or the Museum of Tokyo. Height: 61cm, diameter: 29cm. Pair of ImariCette paire de vases en porcelaine de forme balustre à collerette, est agrémentés de dragons en fort relief enroulés autour de chaque vases. Décor de type Imari composé d'une frise de palmettes sur la base en bleu de cobalt sous couverte et d'un décor sur la panse représentant de grands personnages accompagnés de réserves contenant des oiseaux. Ce décor est réalisé en en émaux multicolores à dominante rouge de fer. Ces vases portent la marque manuscrite Hichozan Shinpo sei (肥碟山信甫). Hichozan (肥碟山) est le nom commercial utilisé par Tashiro Monzaemon fabriquant et négociant qui regroupe des fours et d'autres fabricants d’Arita principalement pour l’exportation, de la fin de l’ère Edo jusqu'au milieu de l'époque Meiji au 19e siècle. Tashiro Monzaemon de Honkôbira se trouvait sous l’autorité du fief de Nabeshima. Vers 1855, les marchands de porcelaine comme Tashiro Monzaemon de Honkôbira ont obtenu la permission des autorités du fief de Nabeshima de commercer directement avec les points de vente au Japon, développant ainsi le marché intérieur mais aussi le droit de traiter directement avec l’étranger, développant ainsi le commerce international. Différents exemples de porcelaine portant cette marque sont présents dans plusieurs grands musées comme le British Museum ou le Musée de Tokyo. Hauteur: 61cm. Japon, fin de l'époque Edo ou début de l'époque Meiji, vers 1860 - 1880 伊万里缠龙对瓶。该对对瓶以人物纹样做饰，瓶身上方个缠绕一条白龙，造型别致，华美大气。瓶底落有“肥碟山信甫”和“肥碟山”款识。相同款识的瓷器，大英博物馆东京馆亦有收藏。尺寸：高61cm，直径29cm 日本，伊万里，江户末期至明治初期，约1860-1880年
