Each panel is of substantial size, encased in finely carved hardwood frames with brass mounts, standing 34 inches high, 12.5 inches wide, and 1.25 inches deep. The hand-painted rectangular porcelain plaques measure 28.5 inches high by 8 inches wide and showcase robed scholars engaged in contemplative activities amidst natural scenery, a classic motif symbolizing wisdom and scholarly pursuits.
