Alternating with these figural panels are complementary cartouches containing birds perched amid peonies and auspicious flora, symbolizing beauty, prosperity, and harmony. The raised molded decoration at the shoulder includes gilt-accented foo lion mask handles and trailing faux-ring lugs, adding sculptural dimensionality and visual drama.
