A Japanese Satsuma ceramic vase of ovoid form, with a cobalt-blue ground adorned with gilt floral motifs and decorated with scenes of courtly life, signed Kinkozan.
The three large polychrome panels depict scenes set in refined aristocratic interiors, with courtiers and ladies engaged in everyday activities.
Impressed signature to the underside.
Period: Meiji, late 19th century.
Dimensions: 17.7 x 11.5 cm.
