About the Item
A very stylish South East Asian porcelain celadon craquelure glazed bottle shaped vase probably Chinese or Korean and dating from the 20th century. The finely made vase is of flattened oval shape with a wide narrow oval shaped unglazed foot and glazed recessed base and rising to a narrow raised oval shaped funnel top with a slightly thicker shaped rim. The body of the vase is decorated in green celadon glazes with a fine darker craquelure to the finish on the outside of the vase. The vase is not marked however a stylish display piece.
Provenance: Acquired from the UK Art Market.
In good condition with light wear associated with age and use.
