About the Item
Drawing on a long Chinese tradition of monochrome ceramics, this tall gooseneck vase is glazed in serene pale celadon. The vase features a rounded, globular body and a narrow cylindrical neck, a classic form known as 'tianqiuping' or 'celestial ball vase.' Crafted in in China's Zhejiang province, contemporary ceramists reinterpreted this traditional shape with clean lines and an understated sculptural presence.
