About the Item
Three Chinese Yixing Clay Teapots, probably 20th Century. These charming teapots are beautifully formed of clay and varying in color, two in rich shades of brown, and one in green. Two have incised inscriptions. The teapots are elegant in their simplicity, and have a richness in their material. As a decoration these would make a beautiful accent to other natural materials (stones, mohairs, cashmere, woods), and would stand out as a sculptural addition to decorated mantle or shelf, or integrated into a bookshelf display.
The measurements on the listing are for the largest teapot. The second largest measures approximately 3 1/2 inches high, 5 1/4 inches deep and 3 1/4 inches wide. The smallest measures approximately 3 1/4 inches high, 5 inches deep and 3 inches wide.
