A remarkable antique Chinese Porcelain Stemmed Bowl with a Cover, dating back to the Tongzhi Period of the Qing Dynasty (circa 1862-1874 AD). This exquisite work features a finely scalloped rim and is hand decorated with vibrant famille rose enamels of intricate depictions of exotic floral patterns. At the center, two peaches, a symbol of longevity in Chinese culture, are artfully rendered on a white background. The bowl is elevated on a stemmed foot with delicate palmette panels. This rare find includes its original matching lid, creating a harmonious and complete presentation. The bowl is signed with a horizontal red seal mark, indicating authenticity and craftsmanship from this historic period. Measuring approximately 6 inches in height and 5.75 inches in diameter, this porcelain stemmed bowl is an outstanding example of Chinese artistry.
