An uncommonly sized, very attractive, useful and versatile Georgian mahogany chest of drawers of good quality in lovely antique condition. Made in England in the early 19th Century, this charmingly compact chest of drawers would work wonderfully in a variety of settings and will add bygone quality and a superb antique aesthetic to any interior. Traditionally hand-crafted from beautifully grained solid mahogany showing lovely, aged colouring, this handy storage piece is reassuringly and surprisingly heavy for a compact chest of drawers. It features three good-sized oak-lined drawers of varying height, complete with attractive double brass handles and ‘dummy’ locks to add a decorative flourish. It has a large and usefully sized single-piece top with moulded bordering and is supported by a lovely mid-Georgian, tier-moulded base of legs with shapely three-sided aprons.
