We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning antique Chinese Chinoiserie, hand made bench or window seat with gold Dragon upholstery and Soapstone Mother of Pearl Geisha Girl decoration A truly stunning piece, this is pure art furniture from all angles, the fabric is made up of hundreds of small gold Chinese Dragons, the outside panels have large soapstone carved Geisha girls with mother of pearl robes Condition wise the piece is in lovely order for the age and based on how well travelled it is, one of the pearl skirts was broken and repaired, otherwise it looks pretty much period perfect to me Dimensions Height:- 74cm Width:- 127cm Depth:- 50.5cm Seat height:- 42cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
