About the Item
Dated April 23, 1934, the original mirror bears an inscription that captures a moment of quiet ritual from nearly a century ago. Restored with care to preserve its early 20th-century craftsmanship, this vanity features turned spindle legs, fluted carvings, and an arched mirror framed by rounded posts and subtle scrollwork. Once damaged and forgotten, it has been structurally reinforced with discreet brackets for stability while maintaining its graceful silhouette and warm patina. The single drawer has been refitted with solid brass Merrick pulls by Armac Martin, a heritage British maker celebrated for its hand-finished detail. Blending late Art Deco refinement with Colonial Revival form, The Laureline Vanity Table embodies timeless grace, serving beautifully as a dressing table, writing desk, or elegant console for interiors that value history and craftsmanship.
