About the Item
An antique Japanese Meiji period enamel tea set adorned with intricate dragon motifs. Consisting of six cups, six saucers, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, and a tea pot. The exterior of each piece has a white background adorned with green dragons. The interiors of cups are a vibrant blue. It showcases the traditional Japanese technique of cloisonne, where fine wires are used to create partitions for the enamel. Circa the early 20th century.
