About the Item

An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel plate. The plate is enameled with a polychrome image of a bird sitting on a branch with blossoming flowers on a blue turquoise ground made in the cloisonne technique. The border is decorated with a polychrome floral motif. The backside is adorned with a scroll pattern. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Plates, Table Wares, Wall Decor, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: D 12 1/2 in. H 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate. ConditionOverall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Refer to photos.
