About the Item
This is a small oval shaped antique metal Pill Box with Inlay to the lid and dating to the Edwardian or late Victorian period.
The box is made of bronze / brass as an oval shape with a lid that is slightly curved to the top. The lid top has diagonal strips with a stone-shell like material inlaid into four of the strips making a very attractive deign. The lid is a very good push fit to the base.
There are no markings to the base.
This English box dates to the Edwardian period of the very early 20th Century or the Late Victorian period of the 19th Century, Circa 1900.
This piece would make an ideal gift.
