A Chinese Export silver mug with dragon handle, decorated with five birds among bamboo against a matte background. There is a round vacant cartouche to the front and the inside has traces of old gilding.
The base of the mug is marked LEO, which was a firm making in Canton around 1860
The mug sits beautifully on the table and in the hand, and weighs a very nice 186gm.
