About the Item

A square footed hibachi with canted corners and incised key bands on the panels. With wonderful old patina. Mounted on a wood base. Dimensions: 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 12" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Time borne wear consistent with age and use including minor scratches, rust and discoloration to the interior, verdigris deposits. The wood base shows scratches and wear. Despite the wear the hibachi presents in an admirable fine and authentic Japanese manner.
