A Japanese enamel on ceramic tea set. A total of 7 items. The set comprises a pair of cups and saucers, a teapot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer. Each ware is adorned with polychrome enamel figural medallions depicting blossoming flowers, and butterfly wings surrounded by floral and foliage ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases are decorated with a geometrical motif made in the same technique. Marked with red ink Calligraphy.
