A Large Japanese Cast Bronze Censer, Meiji Period, Late 19th Century Description: Of circular form with a flat rim, decorated with mythical creature ring handles and a band of ouroboros dragons, all raised on short tripod feet upon a wooden base. Provenance: Private Melbourne Collection Acquired in Japan in 1980s. (One of the Pair) Dimensions: Height: 20.8cm. Width: 29.5cm. Depth: 26cm.
